First, consider the role for which you will audition for. Decide which clothing will complement the character but don’t dress in a costume unless you were asked to do so by your agent or casting director. This is not a good time to wear brand new clothes but rather clothing that makes you comfortable but yet confident.
Plan everything out down to the smallest details and make sure everything is cleaned and pressed. This should be done at least two days before the audition if possible so you don’t stress at the last minute.
Plan your makeup (if applicable) and accessories and remember the simpler the better for you.
Get a good night’s rest and wrap everything up with a smile, confidence and excellent body language and you’ll be set for a successful audition experience
